As far as retail, this project has suffered some setbacks. At one point, it appears they had a tenant for the entire second floor. Now, only about one-quarter off the second floor is spoken for.

Speaking of businesses with multiple downtown locations, Dunkin’ Donuts is our equivalent of Duane Reade and Starbucks put together apparently. I count five in the downtown area, two in Gateway alone.

I would love to see a couple bars/restaurants on the park side... plus, I would kill for some of those parking lots to finally get developed. They really kill the vibe downtown.

Happy to see Halal Guys moving forward!!! Should do great business there seeing how popular they are by the universities.

Unfortunately, until events are back up and running at the Pru, I have a tough time seeing these other places leasing up just yet. I do think they will though.
