Corporate Clothing in Unit 1, Hymers Court Arches, Brandling St, Gateshead - further pictures 15/11/21

Businesses in Hymers Court Arches, Brandling St, Gateshead - further information & pictures 15/10/21

The occupancy levels at the business units in the arches at Hymers Court Arches, Brandling St, Gateshead has been covered in recent years, along with other former Network Rail owned arch properties, most recently covered on post #11874 on 21/03/21 (above)

A few months ago there were 6 units currently unoccupied but seems to have been a recent rise in occupancy - wonder if there has been a reduction in rental values or special introductory offers

Further pictures by myself from Friday 15/10/21 approx 1145 showing the units of Hymers Court Arches, Brandling St, Gateshead

As mentioned previously in post #12,247 above the Nisa store on Kells Lane has been taken over byTesco or more correctly a subsidiary of Tesco called One Stop. It doesn't appear to be open yet but the signage is up and they are working on the interior:

^^^ Will be interesting to see how this turns out. Can’t get too much from those images as they’re too “impressionistic” / high-level concept.

Also keen to see if they have one concept throughout or keep the different zones / villages of the original incarnation.

Just come back from a brief trip to the MetroCentre this evening and must be the worst Christmas decorations in a long time. Every expense spared I think.
Yes it’s pretty bleak in there right now. Popped over during the week and the likes of Costa and the Namco place was rammed, shops were absolutely dead.

comparatively, with the added Newcastle match, there was a real buzz at the weekend in the city centre, felt quite festive.
