Henderson Demolition are putting up scaffolding around the smaller building on the corner of Wellesley and Nelson. Maybe they are now going to take the whole site including the "club" . Has anyone heard anything?
Walked past the site today and the scaffolding doesn't look like demolition
It looks like make over

Property details
48 Greys Avenue, is one of Auckland CBD's most iconic office buildings, now has a clear-cut direction for a full refurbishment and relaunch as a best-in-class office development.

The building will undergo a refurbishment, including an extension to provide ground floor retail opportunities, eight upper levels of A-grade office space and an addition of a generous lobby, which will create a grand entrance, to be accessed through large glazed access-controlled doors at street level.

More than 8,000sqm of high-stud, refurbished office space across large 900sqm floorplates, some with external balconies, which will offer views over the city and Myers Park.

This is about the project on Aroha Ave near St Lukes Mall that is now underway:

New high-density build will feature guaranteed long-term rentals

Long-term rentals and high-density living are a fact of life in most European cities, but they've never been a strong focus for New Zealand. But that will change, and a new build-to-rent development in Sandringham, Auckland could be a model for the future. The project, designed by Jasmax, puts sustainability and community at its heart – to the extent that the 12 apartments replacing a single 1920s bungalow on site will feature materials recycled from the old house.

That photo is significantly misleading regard its impression on the surrounding streetscape and makes it look worse than it will be, ,

There is a significant fall on those sections as you go away from the street, The white house to the right with the blue-grey roof, is essentially below the road level, which you do not feel from this image...

Work begins at Saint Kentigern School Shore Road Campus

With resource consents for both the new Girl’s Primary School and Specialist Facilities & Senior Boys’ Building being granted toward the end of 2019, the enabling works are now complete with construction about to begin on site.

The new projects are located adjacent to the main playing field on the campus. On the western edge of the field the Specialist and Senior Boys’ building reflects the brick character of the existing, neighbouring buildings. On the opposite side of the playing field the Girl’s School building steps down the Shore Road frontage and provides a clear identity and address for girls on the campus. The new building adopts the form and materiality of the Jubilee Sports Centre, also by Architectus, which sits adjacent on a similar perimeter site.

The two projects, which are due for completion 2023, comprise Stage One of the Architectus Master Plan and represent a significant commitment by the Saint Kentigern Trust Board to support and enhance teaching and learning for both boys and girls on the Shore Road Campus.

Kiwi Property gets "standing consent" to buy residential land to build dwellings for rent in Auckland

New Zealand's big shopping centre owner Kiwi Property is another step closer to developing housing for rent as part of its new mixed-use strategy. It has recently received a "standing consent" from the Overseas Investment Office (OIO) to buy residential land in Auckland for the construction of dwellings for rental or lease. Five months ago Kiwi Property, whose real estate portfolio is valued at $3.3 billion, said it was continuing to analyse build-to-rent accommodation with initial designs underway for a potential residential complex of 150-250 apartments at its Sylvia Park shopping centre in Auckland, New Zealand's largest. It has now been granted a standing consent to buy 6 hectares of residential land in total in 19 transactions over a term of three years in the Auckland area.
