The falls are definitely an awesome attraction, but here's a completely arbitrary tidbit to occupy your SSC time:
Supposedly an increase in the construction of highrise hotels along the Niagara (as a response to expanding tourism) has prevented water vapour from spreading inland, causing sightseers to get drenched more so than in previous years. Looking at your photos I can't possibly fathom how this problem exists, but its something that is being taken into account for future construction. (Sweet, that was at least 2 seconds.)
