NJ Golden Coast and NYC

Fairview, West New York and NJ Golden Coast 06.06.09
I took a long walk along the Hudson trying to enjoy all the new urbanity this place has to offer since very recently. I tell you one thing - it is becoming another NYC borough very quick. Also I noticed that the style of buildings and surroundings are more Florida style with mini malls and strip malls mixed with medium size apartment buildings. A lot of stores, little cafeterias, little yet luxury restaurants. People sit in the very well established park on the benches along the river edge. Heavy smog of very nice cigars and coffee is in the air. A lot of new trees are planted. Also right along the edge there is a Light Rail NJ transit with the station Port Imperial. In the same area there is a ferry to NYC. And all of this of course has a million dollar view on Midtown Manhattan. :)
My pictures don't do justice to this place, but try to enjoy it the way I did today.

Thanks for the photo tour! The Jersey side of the Hudson looks like a reasonably nice area to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. Greenery, a more laid back vibe, and of course million dollar views.
A standing ovation. Now give us moar~~~ ;)
Thank you :D
I wish I had more to give - just look at my flickr. the rest are either copies or not so good pictures.

This is one of the most Un-discovered interesting parts of my state , many people think NJ is a industrial dump , but its really a nice , relaxing state with cheap picturesque views of the Greatest City on Earth! :)

It is not that cheap anymore. those condominiums are quite expensive - especially with the view on Manhattan. I heard that 3 bedroom is starting at 700.000$
Thank you :D

Excellent photos!
Just wondering how did you get to this place? Surely it would be a fun one-day trip from NYC. :D
^^
Thank you everybody for your kind words! :)

@sfgadv02 Since I actually live in NJ (Paramus) it is quite easy for me to get to this place - I just go to Fort Lee and then follow the road along the edge of cliffs south where you can easily find a place to park the car and just walk around. it is an amazing place which is lately been going nothing but up. Local population is mostly Hispanic and creates very nice diversity and atmosphere of second NYC. Everybody - welcome to come and check for yourselves. You will not be disappointed. :D
 Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I so wanted someone to do a photo tour of this area. You are awesome and the area is top notch. :eek:kay:
Oh and please post it in the international forum too! They need to see this place.
