Great to see construction has started...lets see more cranes above Leeds in the near future

I think they are just clearing the site rather than starting construction, I may be wrong though.
Still demolishing, but making good progress on that.
My wife is looking to buy a number 20 York Place Opposite......this and the other building opposite will make that area a lot more attractive

Well I certainly hope that construction on 6 Queen Street does actually commence soon as it surely isn't a good thing if yet another site in Leeds city centre was left just as a surface car park. :eek:hno:
It looks as though this is gearing up for a start onsite! Pre-commencement conditions have been submitted.

Well if this starts as well we will be saying there will be too much office space available.
Presumably this wouldn't take as long to complete as Central Square or any of the coming developments at Wellington Place though?

Yeah which is good meaning it might nab a few of the smaller potential occupiers hopefully leaving space in these developments when they are ready for some big outfits to make the move?
The pre-commencement condition documents submitted say they are looking to start work in August 14 and be completed in February 16. This development, Central Square and 6 Wellington Place will all be finishing around the same time, give or take a few weeks.

So is this another speculative build?
Is that the first time we've had a snippet of a Site Waste Management Plan posted on here? :)
So is that a start of construction do we think?
Walked pass this again and there are still 2 machines digging away and the hole that you can see in the above pic has been dug out even more and has concrete walls on at least 2 sides - some sort of old basement perhaps. Still looks like demolition rather than construction.
It appears the developer maybe readying for a start on site. Part of Queen Street adjacent to the site is starting to be hoarded off.

It really looks like work is starting, hoarding are out on Queen Street and York Place.
From today.
