Any to think that they wanted to knock all of these down, now they'll be the bets buildings in this area for the next 20 years..

Bhatia Best was a car showroom

I noticed that scaffolding has gone up on these buildings now- may have been there a while and I've missed it. Hopefully this will be a quality refurb- the area sure needs sprucing up.

Will be brilliant to see these beautiful come back into proper use (although the optician is still gamely making a go of it!)

Car park units opposite will really bring this stretch of street back to life

If only we can be confident Broadmarsh will be transformed or it could all be in vain.

Plans in for the Bhatia building refurb next door, decision in a couple of months. Looks good:

Always thought this would make a nice Apple store.. Lovely building, great to see it being given a new lease of life.. The net is closing in around the Broadmarsh..

This is starting to look much cleaner under the scaffolding.

Scaffolding coming down on this, looking much better. Just need someone to move into the main corner unit now, Post are saying possibly another gym.

I reckon that Bhatia Best building is going to scrub up into a real beauty.

...and it's now down! Work still being done on the new glass frontage so still a few months from completion I imagine.
