According to the construction management plan, they're going to build the approved plans from the planning application back in 2018, being a mix of PRS and student accommodation. However the drawings and plans submitted show the 2019 version (with the 12 storey tower element). So the plans contradict one another.

More than likely will be the 2018 plans to be built out, but I have my fingers crossed still for the 2019 version.

So in 2019 it got PP for 420 studios/149 apartments. Then in 2020 planning was approved for 320 PRS apartments.

And the other day there was approval of remediation:

I don't think too many would be disappointed with the 2018 scheme, if they hadn't seen the 2019 version.

Not too fussed to lose the 'tower' (although there's a nice little cluster emerging in the area) but the low level element in the 2019 scheme is a much better design and has better interaction at street level.

Whatever happens and given the location, this is an important scheme for the whole area and the approach into Nottingham.

the 2019 scheme doesnt meet minimum apartment size requirements that investment funds require in their PRS / BTR portfolio which is why they will be reverting back to their original planning i would assume.

Don't get me wrong, it's still very nice. The latter renders are glossier in general compared to the first, so probably make the differences seem greater than they really are.

I'd prefer them to re-plan the 2019 scheme to meet the minimum apartment size., even if it delays a start onsite.
