Has nobody else noticed this? Pardon me if someone has, and then points that out to me sarcastically:colgate:

I am passionate about music, art and creativity....I am involved in the local music scene, used to produce music, still mix and engineer stuff, dj, promote etc....and I volunteer in an art gallery so this is fascinating and very cathartic for me to hear politicians in particular recognising the need to encourage these things here in Notts. It's a long overdue admission that the city has pushed largely aimlessly in the wrong direction for a while with regard to the overzealous promotion of retail and retail jobs as the saviour of the city's fortunes. It has made me wonder what other people's views are. What are the things that would make this work for the city, for you? And what might stop it from working?

Please say whatever you want!

I am very keen to find out more about this too as I own property in the Lace Market, in fact I am due to meet with the cabinet member for economic development at the council about this in the next week or so, I'll keep you all posted!
