St George are away as per usual for round one.
Penrith had 5 straight round 1 matches away from home between 2005 and 2009, and most of them against Cronulla (for some reason).
And with the Saints, they end up playing a team that qualified for the grand finals. Gold Coast is an exception to the rule but they have been the very first team to play against them.
KK has announced that a new grandstand is to be built at the northern end of Kogarah Oval worth $13 million.
Excellent list! I've learned more from this forum in about 2 days than I have at any other forum community.

Who's KK, Kerryanne Kennelly? Once built will it add to the capacity at all?

I'm missing the footy already, roll on the 4 Nations and the 2011 season, I'm having to resort to watching the NZ ITM Rugby Cup to get my footy fix.

should be an interesting season with many player movements being made and the Storm being back into the comp as competitors. Although the Storm have lost quite a few players they still have a great nucleus in Cronk, Smith, Slater and Blair and also have a few good young players coming through to compliment them and they should be very competitive.

Big improvers should be the Cowboys, they have gotten rid of a lot of dead wood and have made some good buys to bolster their backline. The Broncs should also make a big improvement with the inclusions of Hannant and Inglis, Hodges back from injury and the young blokes having a season under their belts, they really should be top 4 material but Wallace needs to step up.
KK stands for Kristina Keneally.
who the hell is Kristina Keneally
^^ Our premier, apparently.

I've lost track since Bob Carr - there's been a bitchillion of them since... or so it seems.
bitchillion
It's "bitchozillion". Don't be guilty of "poor communicated".
lol, there you go, shows how much i know about NSW politics
TOCC, this is all you need to know about NSW politics:

And has anyone noticed their post counts increase recently? Is it because the 2009 NRL/AFL threads have been relegated to Archive status? My e-dick is pitching a tent here.

OT: Go you fuck1ng Sharkies!

They have to get the 1967 entrants together.
Poor Cronulla, they have less trophies in the cabinet than the old North Sydney Bears.

That's right, couldn't remember her first name, she's the bird with the American-accent who models her hair from Something about Mary isn't it?
Does the new stand at Kogarah add to the capacity at all?
^^ Adds about 1500 or something like that (within a couple of hundred). Its not a massive extension by any stretch.
Really looking forward to this strip making a return next year, albeit for the heritage round v Canberra only...

It's gotta be every week!!!
Best playing strip ever by Penrith.

Thanks Beastjim, not huge but at least it adds to the capacity. I am pretty sure Belmore Oval is getting an overhaul, not sure how big, maybe we might see the Bulldogs back there one day.
Just an upgrade to training facilties worth $2.5 million.

It still has the Winfield Cup Signage on it's Grandstand slowly fading away...
