Town of Liuku (六库) is where the Nujiang Lisu Prefecture seated. It is located in the remoted in the gorge of Nu River, Yunnan province, surrounded by great mountains.
It is also where the Lushui county (泸水县) located.
Its population is about 45,671 agricultural population 23522, non-agricultural population 22149. It is inhabited by minorities of Lisu, Nu, Pumi, Dulong, Bai, Tibetan, Yi, Naxi, Dai, Hui, Jingpo, Lisu as dominant ethnic group, the minority of the total population of 92%, resulting in a large inhabited by ethnic minorities. It is one of the least developed area in China. But the town looks pretty nice.
