Am not a pro-league fan in ANY way. But I got invited once to watch an "A"s game, in a box, and that stadium is HORRIBLE for baseball. I can't even see how they hold a soccer game there occasionally. They should just demolish it.

/\/\ That plan above is NOT going to work. The baseball stadium is too tucked in at one corner. The traffic and people jams before and after the games are going to be terrible. That's very poor urban planning.

Am not a baseball or football fan (and very minimally an NBA fan), but the one time I went to the Coliseum (and in a box no less), that Coliseum really needs to go. You are so far from the field and the round stadium felt so wonky.

I wonder what Oakland will do with that space where both the Coliseum and Oracle Arena are, once the two remaining tenants are gone? Both venues are more than 3 decades old. Maybe much-needed housing will fill that space?
