here are the official renderings of the 3 casino hotels in downtown Detroit that are planned to be completed by mid 2008. All 3 hotels are required to have 400+ rooms. For those who saw my other thread about downtown Detroit developments.... this is only the begining of Detroit's revival boom... Detroit won't look the same in a few years.

OFFICIAL RENDERING MGM GRAND DETROIT hotel addition

-includes spa, pool, restaurants, conference space, theater, 5,000 parking spaces in new parking garage, 400+ rooms, retail

OFFICIAL RENDERING MOTOR CITY CASINO hotel addition


- 17 stories, and includes restaurants and retail stores. said to be done by late 2007/early 2008

OFFICIAL RENDERING GREEKTOWN CASINO hotel addition with new ground floor retail

-includes ballroom, conference space, spa, 5 star restaurant, 1,200-seat theater. New shops along Monroe Street on casino's ground floor, 400 rooms, 22 stories, 3,100 parking spaces in new parking garage, parking garage structure would connect to the casino on the other side of Monroe by elevated moving sidewalks.

I never knew gambling was legal in Detriot. From what I've heard Detriot needs ANYTHING to make it a better city.
I like them all, but the MGM is my fav. :D
Can you make a map showing the locations of all the casinos and construction in Detroit, i know where most of them are (execpt MotorCity), but most people dont.

MGMs site is bigger then i thought What was there before, what was there before the stadiums? iv never seen a pic of how it was. And what happens to the old MGM site?
