These are spectacular! And I loved the Omaha tour.
I'm still learning about the history of this city and the old stockyard area.
I've heard from co-workers that there were once millions of sq. feet of warhouses?

Does anyone have any street-level shots of the Old Market?
I'll take some today and post them.

Yes Omaha had the world's largest stockyard for a time over in South Omaha. It's not there anymore (or the smell either) but there is a smaller operation over there between 24th-30th and L street.

I've got some Old Market pics. I'll have to find them and post a link.

I'm glad you guys are digging the pics.

Nice photos! I really like #4 with the red sky reflected in the river. #7 is cool too. Is that a big fountain on the right hand side of some of the shots?

Yes that is a fountain in the picture.

The Heartland of America Park. You can see the casino in the background where I took the above pictures from.

The Park Fountain. One of the highest shooting fountains in the world at 300'.

The Fountain changes many colors but with the exposure setting they all just ended up looking white.

In the summer, boats go out on the lagoon. One is a big tour boat.
The other is a Venice type gondola for couples.
