Under Construction?

Hi There,

Does anyone have any photos of the construction work on this project yet? I'm told it has started and is being worked 24 hours per day, but have had no joy in getting confirmation.....

Not much chance of any photos - no one seems to know the current status but I don't think there's much happening. Latest estimate for completion is November '09 but this will be more than 6 months after the most recently advised completion date, so as per the contract, people can pull their money back out if they wish with no penalty.

Even with the current economic climate however, I don't see people doing that, as some people purchased off-plan for well under AED 1000 per sq ft.

If only the developers would let us know what was going on, at least we could plan for the next year or so......

Progress looks quite good now. I'd expect 2 floors per month at least, if they are to have any chance of getting finished by the end of 2009....

Has anyone heard if these apartments have been registered with RERA yet?

I am relatively happy with the progress now but more importantly, Rufi have informed the owners (or some of them) that construction updates will be provided every 2 weeks, starting form the 1st of April. This will be the first Rufi project to be completed in the UAE.
