I am relatively happy with the progress now but more importantly, Rufi have informed the owners (or some of them) that construction updates will be provided every 2 weeks, starting form the 1st of April. This will be the first Rufi project to be completed in the UAE.

I think rufi has completed ( or almost ) their project in international city, and are going to hand over somewhere in jun 09.

I am really upbeat about this development - Good progress is being made and the Developers expect 3 slabs per month from now.

Dubai Sports City is also starting to live up to it's potential - It's good to see TV coverage of the new stadium in use. I think it may be worth the wait after all!

If Dubai Golf City gets built (just south of Rufi Twin Towers), that will make this development even more popular in the longer term.

What tv coverage?
I live in Australia and saw the cricket (Aus v. Pak) live from the new stadium on Fox Sports. All of the matches have been broadcast live over here.
did it show an aerial overview of the city itself?

Not really but there are loads of recent pictures of Dubai Sports City from the air on the Chopper Shoot website and on the Dubai Sports City threads
