#ON HOLD: RUFI TWIN TOWERS 16F+16F Res (Sports City)

Message received from Rufi Real Estate.


With current progress of our contractor: Emirates Belbadi Contracting, that has mobilized 330 Staff and 4 cranes working in double shifts on same project, we are expecting to hand over the project by December 2009 :banana:


We are intending to complete an average of 3 Slabs per month :crazy2:

Construction Status for the 3rd week off May which has gone up to 6th floor

Received the below text with the picture

Dear Madam/Sir,

As promised, I am enclosing to this email new updates dated May 30th 2009, showing that we have currently reached the 6th Floor.

Please note that contrarily to what was stated below we will not be making only 3 floors in June 09 but 4 more exactly to be then on the 10th Floor (with an average of 1 Floor on both Towers per week)

Kindly note that at this stage we can not be flexible with defaulters anymore, since we are moving with construction in full speed

well, I think u can immediately rent it out as soon as it gets handed over, From Jun end , falak projects in sports city will be starting to rent as they will be handing over, just next to it , IMPZ started renting from last 4 months , and motor city just across rufi twin tower started renting from last month .
Infrastructure is ready , only there is no walking distance shopping areas and necessities , but that ll come with time , like that there is still nothing and no chance in Discovery garden and almost 1500 familie s are staying tehre

For your info, in few years when the shopping mall will be done near the stadium, it will be Carrefour Hypermarket inside. Their contract is already signed

no, A tower work is going on at a slow pace ( only 2 floor in a month ) and B tower only 1 floor in a month. Yesterday I spoke to the engineer at site and he told tht they removed a set for a month or two thats why work is slowed and it will affect the completion date also. but work is in progress at a slow pace. we will know the reality at the end of the month.

Hi everybody. I am new in this forum. Below are the latest pictures sent by Rufi on 1st August. It is clear that works are slowing down. It must be very difficult to work with this very temperature.
