Genevieve Nnaji gets mentioned in Hollywood Magazine.(Entertainment Weekly)
Genevieve Nnaji is undoubtedly one of the biggest Nigerian exports this decade. She was featured on Oprah last year and is once again recognized by Hollywood in the latest Entertainment Weekly issue, which features the cover story “The 50 Most Powerful Entertainers” (in Hollywood).
Before you get all excited…No Genny isn’t listed here, but she may well be on her way with a mention in a sub feature Stars Around the World. The text reads:
In the span of a decade, this 31-year-old starlet has made more than 110 movies and launched a singing career.
The feature also alludes to her being “the Angelina Jolie of Nigeria.” Huh? Did they mean Julia Roberts? I don’t see any similarities with Home Wrecking Jolie & her restalyne lips! I mean they don’t even do the same type of movies!
