I decided to do this thread a year after I did the first one because so much has changed in a year. Orlando was doing really good with a lot of projects on the table to fill the density in, but with he economy the way it is, development has slowed...I went to a few spots in town for the pics:

City Hall:

The Church St ballroom:

My favorite coffeeshop:

Our really cool new SuperTarget!

You have to park on roof at thisTarget, so here's the view from the top floor:

Baldwin Park:

Downtown Disney:

Cirque du Soleil - Théâtre de la Nouba

Some shots from "Little Saigon":

Back downtown:

Lake Eola/Thornton Park Area:

The Farmers' Market:

Publix - A Grocery Store:

From Lake Ivanhoe:

Park Ave Shopping District:

Downtown Again:

The County Library:

Thanks for looking! :)

wow what a great looking place :)

how cold does it actually get over there?
typically in the winter the average low is 44⁰F (7⁰C). however, tonight the low is supposed to be 31⁰F (-1⁰C). the days are usually warm though (about 68⁰F/19⁰C). it never snows here.

Brilliant! I'm headed there for a school band trip on mar. 25-29th. Looks very promising!

Having lived there for a while, and now west of there....
While you can wear shorts on Christmas usually, after the new year for a month or two you can get to Freezing sometimes. It goes to Freezing, then warms up for a few days to 60-70 degrees(F), and then another front comes, repeat until March give or take a few weeks. :)

For us, after the summers, to me, it's a nice change of pace for a few weeks!

Nice shots! Good to see some different sides to Orlando, rather than the usual touristy kind of photos we always see. Well done, MNiemann
