Here are some castles and palaces built during german, english and french colonizations and after the independance in Cameroon.

Lol. Indeed,the Cameroon volanic region could make Cameroon a great wine country because it's a temperate area. Many mountains and volcanoes have more than 2200m altitude, and the highest is the Mount-Cameroon, with 4100m alt. In that region, in some parts ,at night and in the morning you can have -2°,0°,5°. And the soil is very fertile.
Through this region that Cameroon is one of the largest agricultural exporters in Africa, and the 1st in Central Africa.
Bana is located in the West Region (Cameroon highlands), at about 350 kms from Douala (Littoral Region).

Very nice pictures, although the building look more like mansions in estates than castles. Good to see that the German influence is still there. :)

Lol. I said: "castles" and not "mansions" because, I think the German castle of Buea and the National Museum in Yaoundé look more like castles than mansions, for example. :)
