Hi I am soon leaving for sicily and was just wondering is it possible to take a boat to Sardinia from Palermo or wherever is easiest, I measured the distance on google earth and it looks like its around 400km, how much does it cost and how long does it take, can you make it in one day? Does anyone have any pictures of nice places to vist in Sardinia?

Eletrix I think you are the expert on Sicily whats your advice. Thanks. :)

I suggest you should go to Cagliari by plane. It's way faster and it might even be cheaper than the ferry...

I'll check the price for you in a minute

Flights

Meridiana flight on the 4th of July is scheduled to leave at 21:25 Palermo and the landing in Cagliari is expected to be at 22:20.

The cost (including taxes): 114 Euros. (one way)

I suggest you leave from Palermo (even by ferry if it's cheaper). It mustn't be very easy to reach Trapani comfortably from Palermo.
