Panoramas of Vilnius

This panorama is quite old but I think it'll help to understand how the center of Vilnius looks like. I made it from photos which I found in www.vilnius.lt This view is from the tower of Gediminas castle:

I've counted 25 churches in this panorama, maybe someone will find more? ;)

hmm, I really love this view, reminds me "a bit" :D of a pano I made (of pix found on Internet) and posted here some year ago:

Another one I made at that time from some other pix I found on the net:

Those who want to see many panoramas of Vilnius in 1999/2003 year visit this webpage: http://www.vilnius.lt/panoramos/
I found some AMAZING (   ) panoramas of Vilnius. Those loosers :D who never been in Vilnius and claimed that the old town is ugly, borring etc. should see these (ofcourse it would be better to visit it in reality ;)). These panoramas are taken from www.panoramos.lt - visit this website for more panoramas and not only from Vilnius.

You'll have to install QuickTime player to view these panoramas. If you don't have it yet - visit this webpage: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

Edd great panoramas :applause:
I'm going to visit Vilnius this summer (last time I've been there only for one day and I drank too much beer :), so I hope you guys will find some time to show me everything
Wow, cool panos and I really like these spatial panos, they give quite a realistic picture of one place. So I discovered that Europe square looks awesome, when I looked at this pano:

@Romas: Thanks for nice addition to this thread - very beautiful panoramic photos.

Have a nice trip. :) I usually don't spend much time in Vilnius in summer, there is a posibility that when you'll be in Vilnius I'll be in some city of Poland. ;)

Nothing is clear yet where I'll go, but each summer I go somewhere abroad and Poland is quite attractive because it's close and there is much to see there. Thanks for this offer, I'll let you know if I'll decide to visit Tricity.
Awesome pictures. I just come back from Lithuania and Poland and absolutely loved both countries. I should be creating two threads about Vilnius and Kaunas (and two more of Warsaw and Krakow) in the following days but meanwhile here are a couple sample panoramas, to keep the spirit of the thread.

Taken from the TV Tower

Taken from the Upper Castle

And a bonus pic of the Europa Tower :D

^^^ Nice to hear you liked here, but it really sounds strange from a southerner who visits northern countries on winter :D
