Blue Sky Condominium - 75 storeys (feasibility study stage)

Architect: Rangsan Architecture (the same architect who designed State Tower in Bangkok)

"The tower will rise full 75 Storey with 9 Storey height dome on the top representing the post-modernism antique style, partly painted in gold and overal in blue which inspired by the famous Russian palace and to match the name of the tower...The total gross floor area is more than 200 000 Sq.M holding more than 1000 units of residential rising from 150 to 300 Sq.M."

yeh it would complement BKK skyline nicely, but Pattaya is a good location too :)
regarding the height..if the average floor is say 3.5m (standard for most new residential buildings) therefore 3.5 x 91 = 318.5m plus spire (add some 30m) then podium height, the likely height would be around 350m. A rough guesstimate.

These towers are really tall and Pattaya's skyline will probably be comparable to Bangkok's.

Btw, what happened to the proposed 75-story Blue Sky Condominium?
It has been planned for quite a while now:

Should I change the status to cancelled or may be stale proposal?

I have visited Pattaya only once, in 1997. I was passing through what was clearly the paedophilia-tourism capital, and I found the experience sickening.
I sincerely hope that has all changed - the last thing we should be excited about is a town like that booming.
