Though 500 car park spaces isn't a big number, it isn't a bad number either. Peak hours will see more traffic and they will have to find alternate spaces nearby the mall I guess. Also they have a future expansion or additional car park spaces at the right side of the mall towards the back side.

Veekays Marketcity Latest Pics - Feb 2019









The progress says, we cannot expect it to open before end of April 2019. But seems to be steadily progressing. Good to see the project heading to a reality. We are very close to own a big mall that wud make huge difference to Perinthalmanna and the region :cheers::banana:

To add on: As per some information Savitha will be demolished to add it to the mall area as parking spaces. But yet to be confirmed.

Upcoming Projects - Hi Lite Mall - Announced



Hi Lite Mall - A Township Project expected form Hi Lite Group. Announced officially and land acquired in Calicut Road. Expected to cross all the standards and brand penetration.
Size: Not Confirmed
Status: Announced
Facilities: All Standard facilities including Big Brand Multiplex & Retails expected. A Convention center and Residential Towers expected. Most probably a Township Project
Location: Calicut Road
We have some information regarding the next big project after Veekays Marketcity. As per sources, Hilite is currently in the design stages for the Perinthalmanna Project. The Perinthalmanna Hilite Project is said to be 'as big as Calicut Hilite' Mall Project Phase 1 & Phase 2 Combined. Calicut Hilite will be 1.2 Million Sq ft when phase 2 is completed as per their website. So we can expect a project not less than 7 Lakh Sq ft minimum and may go around 1 Million Sq Ft of Shopping & Entertainment:banana:

What a News for 'Perinthalmaniacs' :cheers::cheers:

BIG BAZAAR in VMC ?





Rumours says that Big Bazaar may team up with Veekays Marketcity for the Hypermarket space. Its been quiet long BB has been looking for an opening in PMNA.

New Mall Project Announcement : Secura Centre




Secura Centre - The latest Mall project to be announced in our ever growing city of Perinthalmanna. The team behind the venture is a group of developers formerly associated with Hi lite and are now on a spree to focus on investment in Tyre 2 & 3 Cities recreational facilities. They have announced their plans to develop a full fledged mall with all facilities including Multiplex in the emerging cities - Kannur, Perinthalmanna & Palakkad :banana::cheers:

Great to see developers and Investors are putting an eye on Perinthalmanna as a major potential city in malabar for commercial activities. Hilite has also announced Projects in these 3 cities. Which clearly shows the future developments are on its way into these 3 cities in malabar region.

Secura Centre will add more value to Perinthalmanna's Glitzy entertainment and shopping sector !

Secura Center Project is taking shape too. The latest update in their website says that their projects will be coming up in Kannur, Perinthalmanna & Perumbavoor. They have Skipped Palakkad & Kottayam as they announced thru their social media handles before.

So this cud be the next big attraction in our city after Marketcity & Hilite Mall Projects :banana: Retail revolution ahead for Perinthalmanna it seems :)

Todays Gulf Madhyamam edition. Secura Centre project will come in a size of 2.5 - 3 Lakh Sq Ft. Also not sure if they are serious about Cinepolise. Perinthalmanna can expect Cinepolise either in Hilite Mall or Secura Centre:banana:

Marketcity Project Opening has been pushed to July- August 2019 as per latest info from the developer. The reason is heard to be delay in readiness of the brand interiors and some approvals for fire safety are awaited.
