Riviera project started

This is not Singapore's Marina Bay Sands but Riviera project in Phnom Penh City, Cambodia. The foundation work of The Riviera have started for a month on Diamond island. The project is developed by OCIC and designed by Thailand's architectural firm A7corp. A7corp has a very close relationship with *some powerful Cambodian real estate developers. Riviera is the biggest project started so far on diamond island and appears to be the 2nd*permanent*structure after Elite town which is nearing completion. We do not have information about this project's*function*but according to its location, design, and renderings, we can assume that The Riviera would be function as retails, hotel, and*apartment... We also don't have information about the cost of this project but it must be much less than Marina since the 3 towers supporting the sky garden are shorter and not as complex as Marina Bay Sands.

I don't like it very much. It looks like a cheap ripoff of Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. :(
I personally don't really trust OCIC, if possible hire some property management experts from Thailand to manage this shopping arcade
how embarassing to copy style from marina bay. we can say it is funny mini marina bay. OCIC start to have sth cheap quality with big amount of quantity. eg. rose condo look like.commie block. and diamond island just look simple. so dont expect too much on this rivera and chroy chongva project also.
hmmm but it is better than nothing or on hold. hope another creative design coming soon.

I think that the Gouverment only want Investors in the Country they don't care about what design or something so long money will come ;)
It is not an exact duplicate of the structure, they copy the idea of rooftop only
i don't care who copies whom. I care only if they can build it as in drawing or not

Marina bay is very much ALL about the rooftop. Few remember the rest of the building.

Singapore doesn't react ,so I think Riviera might be granted green light already ...

Cambodian construction isn't well know offshore. Singapore probably doesn't even know about this. Did the Singapore forum ever mentioned this project, draw similarity etc?

Whoever come up with this design will be branded copycat forever.

The space is not large enough to build 3 towers and shopping center building like in the drawing
