The Uganda Ministry of Tourism Wildlife and Antiquities has welcomed a decision by the government to construct a satellite city near Karuma town along the Kampala- Gulu Highway. Vivian Lyazi the Principal Public Relation officer at the ministry said that if the plan for the city is completed it will support the development of tourism.

Lyazi said having a city near a national park like the Murchison falls will solve the problem of poor infrastructure and accommodation and it will attract many business people and tourists.

I dont agree with all this craze in Africa for satellite cities and towns while the original cities are still in such a mess.
