Hi there,

I'd love to write this in Russian, but my mastery of the language is too little at the moment, so I'll stick to English. I am highly interested in your thoughts about the questions below:

- Does modern architecture in Russia, CIS, and other former socialist countries differ from contemporary architecture in the West in any respect?
- Is there something like a post-socialist approach to it? Or a 'Russian' approach, which might be related to socialist realism or tsarist architecture?
- Do or should western architects who conduct projects in the area anticipate (enough)?
- Can anyone recommend literature (books, journals) and websites in Russian or English on the topic? I must be able to read Russian within a few months.

I'm looking forward to your response. Thanks in advance!
