Prince Frederick is an unincorporated community, and the seat of Calvert County near the Chesapeake Bay's western shore. The population is around 2,500.


The Calvert County Courthouse, on Main Street. The courthouse was built in 1916.



In front of the courthouse is the World War I Memorial, dedicated in 1920.



The Calvert County District Court, on Duke Street.

The Prince Frederick Library, on Duke Street. The library was built in 1903 as a bank, and was converted to a library in 1913. It was moved to its present location in 1961.
