Tameer opens sale of its AED 1.2 billion Al Ameera Village Project in Ajman

Tameer Holding (Tameer), one of the leading commercial, industrial and residential real estate development conglomerates in the Middle East, has announced that it is opening the entire residential component of its latest project - the AED 1.2 billion Al Ameera Village in Ajman - for sale on the first day of the Cityscape exhibition in Dubai.

An artist's impression of the entrance of Am Ameera project.

The sale of 42 heritage-styled buildings and 161 plots in Al Ameera Village, is among the largest single releases of freehold residential real-estate ever in the Middle East. Further, a senior spokesperson of the company also announced that advanced earthworks for the development was currently underway and was expected to be completed by the end of November. The project is due to be completed by end-2007.

Making these key announcements, Mr. Omar Ayesh, President, Tameer said:
'As with all our projects, Al Ameera Village too has been conceived as a dynamic infrastructure development that is strategically located and offers an attractive Return on Investment to investors. Reflecting the forward-looking and investor-friendly outlook of the Government of Ajman, Al Ameera Village is located close to the bustling metropolis of Dubai, while retaining the languid charm of a seaside development.'

Al Ameera Village in Ajman is a mixed-use infrastructure development on the Emirates Road, a mere 15 minutes from the Dubai International Airport, and spans an array of heritage styled residential buildings, a five star hotel, hotel apartments and a shopping mall across an area of 500,000 square metres.

'The 42 buildings that will open for sale range in height from 3-10 floors. Each of the 161 plots that constitute the development are 10,000 sq. ft in area, and will be sold to developers for the construction of buildings up to 10 floors in height,'
he added.

Tameer, which has been incorporated as a partnership between the leading Al Rajhi Investment Group in Saudi Arabia and Tameer Real Estate Establishment, had announced that its investment portfolio in an array of trailblazing projects across the UAE has crossed over AED 40 billion.

Apart from Al Ameera Village, the company's other significant projects include the AED 30 billion Al Salam City of Umm Al Quwain which will be developed on an estimated area of 220 million square feet; the Princess Towers in Dubai Marina, the tallest residential building in the world; the Dana 1 and 2 developments in International City in Dubai; and the Emirates Modern Industrial Area, also in Umm Al Quwain.

Mr. Ayesh further said that the company's decision to release the project's entire residential inventory at one go, stemmed from the substantial investor interest that it had generated in the last seven days, when it was previewed to key investors and real-estate brokers from across the UAE and region.

'Tameer has always been known for its out-of-the-box and innovative approach to real-estate development and Al Ameera Village is one such venture. We are confident that during the three days of the Cityscape exhibition we will sell most if not all our inventory to strategic investors across the region.'

Providing an update on other development related details of the project, Mr. Ayesh said that advanced earthworks on the entire project had already commenced and were scheduled to be completed by the end of November 2005.
'Over the next few weeks we will be finalizing the tendering process for various aspects of the development, which is due for completion by the end of 2007.'

Nestled in the quiet districts of Ajman, Al Ameera Village is a small town community with a big city attention to luxury. Featuring board walks, gardens, malls and hotels, this village is a self sufficient mixed-use development offering the best of everything.

Consisting of 50 traditionally designed residential buildings, the village also contains hotel apartments and a shopping mall that designed in the same style. Walk along the 500 meter long boardwalk, smell the fresh flowers in the gardens, and enjoy a boisterous family picnic in the public park.

If you have a yen for some retail therapy, put on your comfortable shoes and shop till you drop at Al Ameera Village's shopping mall or roam the streets lined with shops, cafes and restaurants. Relax by the fountain before you set off again in search of some excitement.

Apart from the architecturally rich buildings, Al Ameera Village will include functional aspects including spacious streets and side walks, convenient parking spaces and more amenities.

The project is due to be completed by end-2007.

i must disagree, i dont believe that ajman is the worst of all. it is definately the smallest, but umm al quwain, ras al khaimah and fujairah are not as developed as ajman.

Tameer seems to have a good collection of projects up its sleaves and its good seeing them doing projects in all the emirates, including its Al Ameera Tower, The Princess Tower and Al Ameera Village.

Tameer Holding unveils half billion dirham deal with Al Rajhi Projects & Construction

Sharjah - April 16, 2007

Tameer Holding, the region's leading real estate company, today announced a deal worth over half a billion dirham with Sharjah based Al Rajhi Projects & Construction for the construction of phase one of the Al Ameera Village project in Ajman. The deal - worth AED 522 million in total - commissions Al Rahji Projects & Construction to build 41 residential buildings within Al Ameera Village: a mixed-use, first-of-its-kind project within the Emirate of Ajman. Tameer has issued a letter of acceptance to Al Rajhi Projects & Construction and work will commence in early April.

"Al Rajhi has a long and illustrious history in construction and we are very pleased to welcome them on board," said Omar Ayesh, President, Tameer Holding Company"This is the first time we have worked together and I am convinced they can help us realize our ambitious plans for Al Ameera village, which is one of the most important developments in the UAE right now. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with the company."

When completed, Al Ameera Village grand town-sized project will contain a five-star hotel, shopping mall, residential and business facilities, and is set to represent a major turning point in the evolution of the Emirate of Ajman. With extensive amenities for families and executives, it is already being considered one of the hottest property locations within the United Arab Emirates - conveniently located off the Emirates Ring Road close to both Sharjah and Dubai.

"Ajman is now a market in itself, with other property developers becoming increasingly attracted to the Emirate. But Tameer Holding Company

has been a pioneer player here and was the leader in penetrating into this relatively underdeveloped Emirate, which is so clearly rich with promise," said Omar Ayesh, President, Tameer Holding Company
. "Al Ameera Village is one of the most important projects on the company's plan and the value of this deal with Al Rajhi Projects & Construction - over half a billion dirham - only illustrates our commitment towards building a mixed-use project to rival anything that Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi has to offer."

Ziad Al Mous, General Manager, Al Rajhi Projects & Construction, said that the plans for Al Ameera Village clearly showed that the project will accelerate the progression of Ajman as a whole due to its improvement of the local infrastructure, its general services and the modern international standards of architectural design being implemented there. "We are very excited about the construction of this ground-breaking project and look forward to working with Tameer Holding Company" he added.
H.H Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ajman Crown Prince, officially commenced the development of the Al Ameera Village in June 2006 when he laid a symbolic 'foundation stone' on the site of its construction. I have not read about any appartments sales in Ameera village, they are so far selling plots for developers, but I never read about any developer anouncing any building in Ameera village. This is the reason no one is talking about it.
