The Al Ameera Village gets of to a regal start
H.H Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ajman Crown Prince, today officially commenced the development of The Emirate of Ajman's grand town sized project the Al Ameera Village.

The ceremony saw Sheikh Ammar lay the symbolic 'foundation stone' that signified the launch of the development that is expected to be completed by the end of 2007 at a cost of AED 1.2 Billion. The project being developed by Tameer Holding, one of the region's leading real estate companies, first announced the launch of the village in May 2005 and immediately generated a large amount of interest from prospective investors and residents.
"This is both a great day for the Emirate of Ajman and for Tameer Holding." said Omar Ayesh President of Tameer Holding. "We feel extremely privileged and delighted to have His Highness Sheikh Ammar lay the foundation stone for this prestigious development. We have designed the Al Ameera village to reflect the culture and heritage of this great emirate while ensuring that it has all of the facilities expected for any large futuristic city."
The project has been designed to include all the facilities a modern state-of-the-art town sized development would normally feature, including a mall, several sports centers, mosques, parks and other recreational & shopping facilities. Situated on the Emirates Ring road, and a short distance from Dubai, the project will consist of 50 traditionally designed residential buildings, hotel apartments, commercial areas and a shopping mall.
Commonly known for developing lone buildings designed for both residential and for business purposes, Tameer have also garnered a reputation for designing complete towns and cities. Apart from the Ajman based development, Tameer are also responsible for the Emirates Industrial Area, based in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain that features a variety of buildings designed for commercial and business use, which includes ultra modern labor accommodation and facilities. Also in Umm Al Quwain is the vast AlSalam City, a development expected to hold approximately half a million residents, being constructed at a cost of AED 30 billion.
