Dubai developer plans world's largest wellness centre

WorldCare Wellness Centre will be centrepiece of MAG Creek Wellbeing Resort in Dubai

MAG Property Development (MAG PD) on Tuesday announced the details of its flagship MAG Creek Wellbeing Resort project in Dubai.

The AED2.2 billion project spans over 898,786 square feet and covering 550 metres of the Dubai Creek waterfront.

The developer revealed that MAG Creek will include a WorldCare Wellness Centre that spans over 120,000 square feet, making it the largest wellness centre in the world.

It will offer residents and guests full access to a medical check-up clinic that guides, informs and supports healthy living choices. The community also includes a luxury 96-room WorldCare Wellness Hotel, as well as a sports, fitness and leisure centre and a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and retail outlets.

The project is also home to 17 waterfront mansions overlooking Dubai Creek, 75 luxury apartments and 172 serviced wellness holiday homes that will all be fully furnished and available for freehold ownership.

Talal Moafaq Al Gaddah, CEO of MAG PD, said: "Our MAG Creek project is the first residential district to combine the highest standards of health and luxury facilities, making it the only project of its kind in the region.

True, i remember hearing about it before. Hey did the infamous "falcon city model" make its appearance this year again?
^^ of course .. exactly the same models from 10 years ago ... they never disappoint in showing up
Falcon City is to my mind, the worst project of Dubai ever planned...
Well it promises wonders and we're all wondering...

Wasn't this MAG project planned to be on the shore of the Al Jaddaf Creek Extension or was that another wellness resort project thing?
Something was definitely happening on this site today...I have seen a couple of cranes moving while passing in a taxi. :)

How cute. No wonder it takes years, they can't find their Lego bricks for their tiny lowrises.
Can anyone confirm that the infrastructure work has been finished? I read a lot of MAG announces but looking at land viewer the site is in a stand still since forever.
Problem with this project on LandViewer is that there's always some weird whiteout glitch at exactly that location, in every image.

Only in the Sentinel images though, the Landsat images are fine, but they're lower resolution.
This is now the Ritz Carlton Residences I believe.

It seems that some ground work has started for this as well as the kempinski residences.
