^^ Cheers guys, we have been waiting for years for this to happen.

This will be a great project to follow and a wonderful addition to the city.

New render ?

I actually think that this is an old section drawing before the project was changed.

Here are images from LT arkitekters website, I havn't seen before.

Palmehuset.

Et kig ind i porten.

Hovedindgangen i Sølvgade, hvor den store glasbobbel skal opføres bagom forhuset.

Fra Botanisk Have's nordlige del.
De eksisterende bygninger bliver ført tilbage til original stand.

What do you guys think about the Ocean-salen ?

Isn't it a little bit out of line..
I feel that Copenhagen needs new better more daring buildings in the center - especially ones with organic shapes. I loved the original idea with the whale skeleton peaking thorough - the design was watered down and it seems the skeleton cannot be hung .. but I have hope the project can still deliver an impressive museum addition. After all the building needs to attract visitors ... so it should inspire awe

The basement used to be much deeper creating almost a cathedral sized space with the glass dome reaching for the skies. The effect in the cheaper more shallow basement will be a lot less impressive, but hopefully impressive enough for the young kids about to be engaged with scientific subjects.

I agree that the lost height will be felt, but if they kept the dome as high as it is on the most recent renders (Vejtirektoratet was tasked with further cost streamlining the project) The Havsal will still be impressive (If they manage to get the skeleton or a whale model) hung in that space. This will still be a great replacement for the current Naturhistoriskmuseum which is basically useless and forgotten.
