I noticed this morning that a gantry has gone up in front of 299 Adelaide Street. I haven't seen anything on PDOnline about modifications, but it looked like a fairly substantial gantry. The signage up beneath it is for facade cladding specialists Aclad, so maybe the building is getting flammable cladding removed?

That's a pretty recent development. You may be onto something regarding the cladding.

Looks like we have another recent development that will be shedding its current cladding - a Construction Management Plan (A005511692) has been lodged for works to Brisbane Square, replacing large amounts (if not all) of that building's Aluminium Panels. It's a big job, commencing in August 2020 and running until early 2022 according to the letters to neighbouring properties.

Work is underway on the refurb of the old police station on Charlotte Street. Activation of this building's ground floor will make a nice addition to the streetscape along here.

An update on the missing awning over on 288 Edward Street, a Construction Management Plan has been lodged for after-hours work between 07/09/20 – 31/10/20 to install the awning.

Not a major change but a notable one - the old National Australia Bank signage has been removed from 308 Queen Street, and replaced with UQ signage.

I was kinda hoping to see the Queensland National Bank signage reinstated to match that on the front doors, but c'est la vie.

Sell it I expect now that they don't have the income for vanity projects. The VC needs to take an 80% payout too. They really aren't worth $1.5 million a year.

It is currently being refurbished and will become an extension of their existing inner city campus across the road in 293 Queen Street.
