Impressive looking little buses:yes:
EE cities are investing more and more in public transport, so I thought it would be interesting to observe and compare the changes

City of Novi Sad to recieve twenty-five low floor buses from "Neobus" (another domestic company) Last bus to be delivered by mid-August this year

U AD „NEOBUS”

Btw, does Warsaw have these private bus operators or is that only Belgrade's problem?
(ok, some companies are good and operated modern buses, but most...lol)
he, he :)
I think I know what You are talking about - I mean public transport in Warsaw is owned by the city, however there are many private bus routes, which are connecting Warsaw with some smaller places and towns outside the city.

And Yes - most of the buses owned by those private operators does not look very modern ;)

Warsaw ordered 80 new 'long buses' from Polish company 'Solaris'.

First of them should appear in the city later this year.

They will look the same, like the ones, which were bought by Berlin :

Tram from Zagreb looks impressive!
and they are, they have quite a few gadgets inside and out, you'd think it is gone all sci-fi, lol, and it is first tram to actually have working air-conditioning inside, tram has interior and exterior camera system so driver can ce situation all over the place, back of the tram and sides which is crucial for such a large tram, it is 32m long, 2.3m wide, and can carry 200 passengers....

Tram is offered on various gage systems and few foreign customers have already asked for specs and are interested for the tram, city of Sofia has already showed interest.

I think it would be great if Wroclaw or Warsaw get it to, they are quite cheep , only 2.5 million CIF and manufacture can deliver up to 36 trams per year.

I think Gdansk could also benefit from this trams..

^^ I agree its gorgeus, why buying expensive bombardier when you can have such a great tram for so little

forgot to mention Sofia is interested for 3 section version as this trams are for to long for Sofia's streets and they want something up to 25m length. Zagreb has always had long trams, old ones where about 40m long - 3 car trams built by Duro Dakovic factory in Croatia way back in 60's, but this are primarily built by Knocar although Duro Djakovic is responsible for boogies. Gradelj another constrictor is responsible for exterior and final assembly rest of it is done by Koncar industries....

And for comparison, Bombardier trams Krakow got (50) cost over 3.5 million per tram. OK all of it financed by EU structural founds but still, way to much, for similar tram from Skoda you'd need to cuff up 3.3 million and for Simmens trams (which have hip of technical problems) you'd need to put aside no less than 4million US$. for French Astolm and Italian trams slightly less, only 3.75 million but they look nice and similar in design features to Cro-Tram..

Older Koncar Trams - entered service 1998 - 2000, only 17 entered service but they also look nice

this are very old trams which new trams are replacing, as you can ce it is fine time for change, lol.... :)
