Cluj: metrou usor de 16 mil. euro intre Emerson si Nokia



Prima linie de metrou usor din tara a fost data in folosinta in Bucuresti in 2002, pe lina de tramvai 41. Lucrarile au fost realizate de compania romaneasca Mari Vila si de cea franceza, TSO, pentru 4,3 mil. euro. Francezii au venit cu managementul, pentru care au luat 600.000 de euro, iar romanii au executat lucrarea, contra sumei de 3,7 mil. euro.

Clujul ar putea avea in urmatorii cinci ani aproximativ 15 km de metrou usor care va traversa orasul de la nord la sud si care va lega cele mai mari investitii din judet - Emerson si Nokia, in urma unei investitii de circa 16 mil. euro.

Proiectul, care apartine Regiei Autonome de Transport Urban Cluj (RATUC) si urmeaza sa fie supus aprobarii consilierilor locali, a fost dezvoltat in conditiile in care autoritatile locale doresc sa transforme municipiul si localitatile din jur intr-o zona cu caracter metropolitan. Aceasta ar urma sa cuprinda in Pentru varianta integrala, aboneaza

Can anyone help us with a map of the light rail? And maybe with the locations of Nokia and Emerson vis-a-vis Cluj?

Cu ocazia implinirii a 110 ani de transport electric la Iasi, viceprimarul Constantin Neculau a afirmat ca iesenii ar putea circula cu tramvaie noi "intr-un nou mandat". Oficialii Primariei spera ca pentru achizitionarea a 30 de tramvaie noi sa poata fi atrase si fonduri nerambursabile puse la dispozitie de Uniunea Europeana. Credeti ca, prin achizitionarea de tramvaie noi, problemele transportului in comun din Iasi se vor rezolva?

Yes, would be nice to have more "oldies but goldies" on the streets ... AFAIK only 2 at the moment :cheers:

They should designate a line or two which pass through the center but aren't overcrowded and use these old trams on those lines. It would be nice. Mixing old and new trams on various lines would be counterproductive IMO... I'd only like to see modern trams on all the other lines.

well, tourists in Timisoara are chosing a city-tour by tram. it s cheap and they can see many of the city's attractions, and just a little part of communist buildings. besides, people are civilised.

Well, it's true that in the last years they renovated most of Timisoara's tram network, so it's very nice-looking. But I find the trams themselves quite bad and old. I would like low and modern trams like the one in Oradea :cheers: . They should emphasize accessibility for disabled people.

In the end though, I guess it's good enough - I've been going to university without paying for quite a long time :D Though I still have a blank ticket handy in case there are 'suspicious' persons in the tram, resembling controllers.

Smart in a way, but remember that public transport income is based on YOU, as a citizen, as a frequent client of their business. So if you want improvement in local public transport, you need to pay the usage of their services.

But hey, i did it too when i was younger so who am I to judge? :p

i just got my first fine a week or so ago, on the 41 line (in Bucharest, sorry for being offtopic)... grrr, not fair, my "abonament" expired just 1 day before :(
