Too many lame boxes for my taste.
nice new photos from Chicago....thanks for sharing.
This is only the beginning. This thread will take some time to build. I flew to Chicago this weekend specifically to photograph it. I've been wanting to do that for a long time now. Saturday was a bit hazy and overcast as you can see, but yesterday was gorgeous! It will take me a while to get to yesterday.

Superb shots! :applause:

What a great town Chicago is!
Thanks! I still have a ways to go with the thread! I have yet to post the shots from the Willis Tower. I have some nices shots of boats on the river too. I thought Ohio Beach was interesting - a quaint little beach along the shores of Lake Michigan right in the middle of downtown Chicago. I could have walked there from my hotel. I thought I was in Miami again!:cheers:

Glad you got a nice shot of inbound Kennedy. It's an underrepresented angle due to limited pedestrian access, but in my opinion one of the best, removing the grid and creating a seamless mass of buildings.
I'm not sure which photo that is. Could you please copy and paste the photo out of my post into your response?

Are we looking at the same city? lol
Pay the troll no mind. He has a secret hard on for Chicago. He goes to every Chicago thread and posts the same dumb comment as if he'd never seen the Chicago skyline before and just realized he didn't like it, lol. What a goof!

Anywa, great pictures, QuantumX. Keep them coming!

Incredible photos! There are a few things that I would like to see if you are still in Chicago.

1. - More pics of the architecture from the street

2. - Pictures from the river along Wacker Drive

Anyways, everything so far looks magnificent!
