I must admit, I like to bat for the underdog. When I discovered all those great projects happening in Tweed it has me quite excited - and dissapointed at the same time.

People in Queensland don't care because its over the border.
People in NSW don't care because its outside Sydney.
It seems a waste that all this is going on and nobody is even seems to care.

Anyway I hope it gets some more recognition.

BTW - do you include it in GC's skyscraper count? Or in NSW's count?

Tweed easily. Its a funny sort of relationship considering its part of the Gold Coast but not the GC due to it being on the NSW side of the border.
jay-t. all tweed scrapers are part of Gold coast City skycrapers.
Foster-Tuncurry has a few. Coffs Harbour has 1 or 2.

Queenbeyan is in ACT JT :p
No, it is in NSW, just across the ACT border - that's why Canberra-Queanbeyan is considered to be one metro area.
Dubbo town centre is very pleasant these days but it has no talls apart from an exceptionally ordinary 6 storey "tower" built in the 1970s (?) and the 5 storey Amaroo Hotel which was built even earlier. Since then the population has almost doubled and there has been the occasional taller tower announced through the ages but nothing concrete has eventuated. It's almost 2 years since I was last "home" so some-one correct me if there has been any significant development.

Driving into Dubbo at night is amazing - this long string of lights can be seen on the horizon half an hour before you get there, it looks very sprawly.

Would be great if there were some towers.

Port Macquarie has a bunch, but they only reach 9 stories due to a height limit.
Your call. I live there (Port Macquarie) so if any one wants some pics, just ask.

It would be nice to see some pics og Port Macquarie. :)
Sure!
If its a nice day tomorrow, or on Sunday, i will go out for a cruise & photograph around the place.
I was in Forster last weekend (coincidental to the triathlon, might I add), and upon getting there I wished I'd taken my camera. For a fairly small town, there was a lot of construction going on. Forster has a few towers from 6-12 storeys.
I think the Gong has got the best regional skyline with the best yet to come!
