Questions

So I just read this article (Title: "Hezbollah says its arms needed to resist Israel") and I had some questions. First, I want to apologize for posting something that is perhaps political nature (given that I can't post in EAYOR), but it got me wondering.

1) If Israel withdraws from Ghajjar and hands over this village to Lebanon, then wouldn't this diminish the validity of Hizbullah's argument that resistance is necessary in order to regain "Lebanese territory occupied by Israel"? I mean, Israel will have now withdrawn, under relatively peaceful circumstances, from three different occupied territories- Sinai, Gaza, and now Ghajjar, without any need for "resistance" from the Egyptians, Gazans or Ghajjaris.

2) Ghajjar and the Shebaa Farms were originally captured from Syria (the residents of the village possess Syrian national ID cards, but not Lebanese ID cards). Also, according to the article, "Israel seized Chebaa Farms and Kfar Chouba Hills from Syria in the 1967 Mideast war. Lebanon and Syria claim it is Lebanese territory. But a U.N.-drawn border between Israel and Lebanon marks it as Syrian land under Israeli occupation." If it is Syrian territory, then why should it be "returned" to Lebanon, when it was never Lebanese to begin with?

3) Once Israel hands back the Shebaa Farms to either Syria or Lebanon (I think this is inevitable), will Hizbullah disarm, since its weapons are meant for "resisting" Israeli occupation (but surprisingly not Syrian occupation) of Lebanese lands?
