Well, I didn't want to spend too much time talking about urinals, but since people asked, here's the street view.

There is a pipe that goes into the sewers. Every so often, an MMDA spray truck comes and they pressure wash the urinals. I have never used these myself so I wouldn't know how hygenically sound they are. But I think that they're much better than having people urinating on walls.

BTW. I sent this picture in to http://www.urinal.net/manila/

They want a picture of the urinals themselves. So if anybody wants to send them a picture of the inside of the urinal, please do so. The administrators of www.urinal.net would appreciate it.

yeah, but this aint bad. Its much better than peeing at the side of the road. MMDA is also doing a good job of keeping them clean by spraying them.

Didnt know where to post this, so since Megaworld is based in QC here it is

Reasoning behind Megaworld's great sucess:

Megaworld cited among Asia’s best-managed firms
The Philippine Star 04/17/2004

Megaworld Corp., the country’s No. 1 residential developer, has been recognized as one of the best-managed Asian companies by Hong Kong-based FinanceAsia magazine in its survey of top companies in the region in 2004.

Megaworld joined Smart/Philippine Long Distance and Telephone Co., Ayala Corp. and SM Prime Holdings among the Philippines’ best-managed companies. Megaworld also placed among the top-ranking companies in investor relations, with Megaworld director for investor relations Luke Tan cited as the country’s second best investor relations representative.

This year, FinanceAsia, an authority on capital markets and corporate finance activity in the region, grouped 424 fund managers, portfolio managers, equity investors and research analysts as respondents in a survey of companies from the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, China and Indonesia.

Megaworld had been ranked by FinanceAsia as one of the best-managed Asian companies in 2001. More recently, Euromoney magazine voted it one of the best Asian companies in 2003, and one of the best Asian property companies, along with Sun Hung Kai Properties of Hong Kong and CapitaLand of Singapore. Also in 2003, Megaworld ranked first among Philippine companies in Euromoney’s corporate governance survey of emerging markets.

better and better? they must have replaced their architects with better breeds. i remember Rockwell having this concept of building towers of unique designs and shape and maybe color. so expect nothing to be similar with others. am i right? im quite sure on this.

maybe they hired new graduates from architectural school, so thats why Megaworld designs are getting more modern and creative.

well Bellagio is a start. the World Centre wasnt to bad either. maybe the predicted office boom will be a good chance for Megaworld to build nice office towers.

well they could always build it in the remaining lots in the Makati CBD, or in Ortigas. there's still a lot of lots for scrapers in MM. hey, even along Roxas blvd. too
