About the Tower

Trust Towers occupies a prime plot in the Upper Hill district of Nairobi. The high-rise reinforced concrete structure, finished with blue glass and white louvre tiles, dominates the Nairobi skyline.

The building’s main tower includes 22 typical plus 2 basement floors of gross area of 17,000m2. The impressive double floor height entrance lobby houses the reception, a number of shops and a bank. On the podium levels, a modern café with a seating capacity of over 150 people blends well with planters and concrete pergollas. Split-level parking floors provide space for 200 cars. An external car park provides another 150 spaces.

The mains power supply is derived from a KPLC 630 kVA transformer located on the upper car parking deck. Power to the typical floors is distributed by bus bar rising mains. A perimeter skirting trunking system distributes power, data and telephones on each floor. The building’s internal circular columns are all ducted, and their bases are skirted with trunking for power, telephone and IT connections.

The development includes a 650 kVA standby generator, automatically switched for 100% power back up on mains failure.

The building is capped with 30-metre high mast for supporting TV and radio communication. The space above the top most typical floor houses a conference/seminar facility with a kitchen and other amenities.

4 water storage tanks are installed to provide a domestic water supply, wet riser supply, sprinkler system, and rainwater storage. The domestic water storage tank, located at the lower deck is fed by the Nairobi City Council’s 100mm dia high-pressure water main. All parking decks are sprinklered.
