I still hate the concrete used on the side of the building......looks so old and not modern
oh nooooo :lol:
I love these towers that mix glass with aluminium or concrete or marble
moshe aviv is the best example so it also fits in

Harel tower is far from being pretty, but it serves its purpose which is to be a skyline filler.
@avivster with all due respect Moshe Aviv tower used higher quality materials and cladding.
Obviously it looks nicer.

Its mainly that i wish the concrete could be white instead of that beige color..^^ on almost all the buildings....(Kirya Tower, Galit tower, moshe aviv, etc)

Beige makes more sense because dirt is less visible on it so it requires less maintenance and will age more gracefully.
In an ideal world I would prefer them using either all glass and steel or at least some nice looking stone like granite but it won't happen :)

if it goes ahead it will be a very interesting structural project
as complicated as the addition of floors in crystal tower

הועדה המחוזית: תוכנית להגבהת בית הראל ב-30 קומות

תוספת קומות לבית הראל ברמת גן. הוועדה המחוזית לתכנון ובנייה אישרה בחודש האחרון תוכנית המציעה
להוסיף 30 קומות לבית הראל, מעל 21 הקומות הקיימות, כך עולה מהדוח שפרסמה החברה לבורסה. מדובר במגדל
משרדים שנמצא בבעלותה המלאה של הראל ביטוח. על פי הדיווח של החברה בדו"ח הכספי: "האישור הסופי
לתוספת הקומות והפרסום ברשומות צפוי להתקבל בחודש יולי 2015".


DPC approved adding 30 floors to Harel Tower in Ramat Gan Diamond Exchange District,
final permit will be given in July 2015. Harel has no immediate plans to start construction.
The tower will ve 50 floors with this addition.
