^^ Love to see this, I used to walk on this Kashmir Road then right on Adam Jee road to go to my school FG Uloom-e-Islamia High School next to ministry of defence during mid 1970s. I remember this Bosco Shoe Shop, signs of Khanam, 707 soap, UBL etc: no more there. Nice and peaceful time that was. :)

I think this is Kashmir Road close to Kamran Market. Though it may not seem like much, it actually looks a lot more 'managed' and peaceful in the photograph. Today, It's an absolute nightmare driving through this place. Bumper to bumper traffic throughout.

In Aug.- Oct 1947, Pakistan first currency bills, had British India & Pakistan printed on the same bills
