all this thread is boosterism and will cause arguments. half your "records" are debatable and some are not even "records".
Stop bitching and promote ur city, every record ever placed on this earth is debatable. And why don't you challange me about my own city, and let me prove you wrong.

Being second and third place is not a record your city Holds and the most Diverse City claim has never been proved, but we'll leave that to the other thread.

JayeTheOnly, there's no way you'll be respected on this board at this rate. Posting misleading stuff you clearly don't understand. And being rude.

Toronto doesn't have the third most high-rises. We haven't seen a comprensive list here; and the publicized list we did see recently grossly undercounted Asian cities like Shanghai. "Most neighborhoods"?! Not only is that meaningless because it's not defined, but it's dependent on apples-to-oranges definitions of "city limits." As a theater city, its often called #3, but only among English-speaking cities.

Seattle has three titles I can think of:

1. Largest building. (Boeing plant in Everett; by volume it's larger than then next ten (guessing) put together, and four times the size of the next largest.)

2. Richest person. (one magazine said Gates was #2, but another came out and had him back at #1)

3. Largest charitable foundation. (Gates Foundation. no contest)

off the top of my head

Milwaukee is hub for Miller Brewing Company, which produces more than 50 brands of beer, and the city has the most bars and taverns per capita than any other with 459, one for every 1,301 people.

-largest music festival in the world-Summerfest

-worlds largest Irish festival

-largest French, German, Polish, Italian American, Native American festivals in America. Has some of the largest Mexican, Arab, African in the U.S.

Wisconsin is also the leading producer of cheese, ginsing, and cranberries in the U.S.

I dont know if those are considered records...but oh well. Its all I could think of. Oh yeah....Milwaukee produced the most flamboyant man in the world.....Liberace.

Wow... most impressed by London so far. It is amazing to see how even though its population is much smaller than New York & Tokyo, it still is well above these two in many areas.
