Yes, there are many buildings, towers, churches etc. from the 12th and 13th century.

You also can find parts of an old Roman gate Porta praetoria dating from 179 A. D.
It survives as a reminder of Castra Regina, the Roman settlement.

Since 2006 the medieval centre of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
