is a one-off experimental redesign of a G-pier widebody holdroom that was only introduced at Amsterdam airport this year. IIRC, the wavy sofas and newfangled lights are being tested to gauge whether passengers like the design and layout more than the traditional rows of facing seats.
(Amsterdam's non-Schengen (= requiring exit passport control) gates have individual holdrooms with their own security - like Changi - while the Schengen areas (flight w/out passport control) have open contiguous lounges like Hong Kong.)
