Hmm, I'll do some Google Imaging for you. I've been there a couple of times. Maybe FlickR has some pics of Wollongong also.
Not street level pics, but these are two nice pics from Sublime Point of Wollongong that I found from Google :):

thanks.....and how about some pics from the streets....or like daily life of the city
I've actually never seen the wollongong cbd or skyline, only it's beaches or some apartment building images you people post. Does wollongong have an Urban lifestyle?
What do you mean urban lifestyle? Venturing to other parts of the city to shop rather than just the cbd? If so then yes. Wollongong's central area is going through a lot of development at the moment and people coming into the centre of the city will increase. Bt there are other major shopping areas throughout the Illawarra metropolitan area like Corrimal, Figtree, Warrawong, Dapto and Shellharbour in the south.
The last time I was in the Gong was 3 years ago and I was shocked at by how dead the centre of the city was compared to the late 80s to mid 90s. But so much has happened over the last 2 years and development of the central city area is booming with excellent residential and commercial buidling popping up everywhere! Check out the Wollongong thread in the NSW section.

Nice shots, such a beautiful setting for a city.

Are there height limits in Wollongong or is it they just don't really have the demand yet to build tall.

There are height limits. On the beach front I think it's no more than 9 storeys (around 35m) but as you move west the height limit increases to a maximum of 120m along Crown Street west. There's plans to redevelop Wollongong Station with a new Crown Street level concourse and twin towers of about 30storeys. Haven't heard much lately about it though - its a joint venture between council and the state government.
