Princebishops’ palace, main work of South German Baroque period, one of Europe’s most outstanding palaces. Built 1720 - 1744 in accordance with plans of Balthasar Neumann, assisted by L. v. Hildebrandt of Vienna and M. von Welsch of Mainz. Unique staircase with cantilever cupola and the world's largest ceiling fresco by the Venetian Tiepolo. "White Hall", rich stuccowork by Bossi, "Emperor’s Hall", luxurious interior, frescoes by Tiepolo, "Garden Hall", ceiling fresco by Joh. Zick, "Parade Rooms", furnished 1740 - 1770 in luxurious Rococo style. "Mirror cabinet", reopened in 1987 after nine years of reconstruction.

9.0 I've actually been inside the palace twice, and I highly recommend the tour for anyone who appreciates Baroque architecture.
It is not for those who don't like clutter and extensive decoration.

I was thinking give 9 before I see the interior pics...

Die rundliche Kaisersaal, und die Schlosskirche - das ist ein wichtiges Meisterwerk, und Balthasar Neumann - ja, das alles macht, dass ich 10/10 geben kann. Gruss aus Schlesien:)
