3 Yeongjong-Cheongna Bridge (Incheon)

New bridge between Yeongjong Island (where Incheon International Airport is located) and the free economic zone of Cheongna (in Northern Incheon) to be built.

There are plans (it's been Under consideration for at least 6 years) to build a 3rd bridge between the International Airport and Incheon, this one would be the shortest one and the closest to Incheon city center. They are reviewing plans, including traffic, the effect on the other (private) bridges... Lots of boring technicalities, but final plans should be submitted by 2018, and construction would start in 2019, with a planned completion in 2024

Rough map or where that bridge would be :

Expressway 12

22 December 2015

The works to construct the second carriageway of Expressway 12 between Gwangju and Daegu were inaugurated today. Expressway 12 was originally built as a 175 kilometer long super-two expressway, which opened mostly in 1984. It was one of Korea's deadliest roads, and works started in 2008 to widen the entire route to four lanes. They had to built numerous second tubes and second bridges, plus a number of realignments. The length that was completed as a four-lane expressway today is 143 kilometers. The easternmost 32 km was already widened in 2006.

The expressway has also been renamed from '88 Olympic Expressway' to 'Gwangju - Daegu Expressway'.

Here is a map of the widened segment:

Google Maps doesn't allow you to plan routes in South Korea. It also doesn't show any roads in Google Earth, quite annoying.

According to Google Earth the tunnel length is around 7.4 km.

What strikes me in Korea is the huge secondary network of divided highways, some of which seem to be near-national expressway standards. Google Earth shows another high-standard road under construction on the north side of Ulsan, that runs partially parallel to Expressway 65.

Gyeongbu Expressway to be rebuilt underground in Seoul ?

The Government, Seoul, and various other parties involved are considering burying the currently street-level Gyeongbu expressway (the main highway in Korea) in its 6.8km Northernmost section in central Seoul, between the Yangjae Interchange and Hannam bridge / interchange (Seocho district). At street level, the expressway would be turned into a park.

Obviously, that is a huge project that is years or decades down the road, but it is an impactful one.

Although the Seocho and Gangnam districts are officially delimitated at Gangnam Avenue (a few hundred meters East of the expressway), the expressway is actually what truly separates the bustling Gangnam district from the more residential Seocho district (Banpo,...). Crossing the expressway by foot/bike... is not very pleasant, and takes a lot of time, and in a way prevents the commercial districts in Gangnam from spreading over westwards, so the underground highway reconstruction project would have major implications on that regard as well.

This highway and the surrounding avenues are also prone to massive traffic jams, and it will be interesting to see what impact this underground highway might have on traffic.

Geogeum Bridge

The Geogeum Bridge, located along the south coast of Korea, southwest of Gwangyang. It is the only link to Geogeum Island.

The bridge is 2280 meters long, with a main span of 480 meters. It is a double-deck bridge with Highway 27 on top and a bike/footpath below. It opened to traffic in 2011.

I know. Date was changed to July 3rd since I posted... But I'll rather update on the actual opening rather than post updates about timelines...
^^
I'm little bit worry about you cause your post has too many wrong information especially infrastructure&subway&transfer project
I don;t want to inform that wrong data openly cause you shy.
Please check the fact before posting. thanks
