Russian Uzorochye is a unique architectural style of 17th-century Russia, characterized by complex forms, an abundance of decor, a complexity of composition and a picturesque silhouette. The word "uzor" is translated as "ornament", "pattern". It is widely believed that the Russian Uzorochye is linked to the late Renaissance and Mannerism. The Uzorochye style is a precursor of Moscow Baroque architecture.

Strange but interesting. I would probably think these were in India if you hadnt said theyre russian
Well, I've heard a lot about the similarities of Old Russian architecture with the Indian one. On the web you can find "scientific" works on this topic.

On this architectural paradox are often based crazy theories about the highly developed Hyperborean civilization, which was located in the north of Europe. From there, the ancient Aryans allegedly went to the south, carrying with them their Hyperborean architecture, which was reflected in traditional Russian and Indian religious architecture. But this pseudoscientific delirium came from the Vedic occult, and has nothing to do with reality.

It is true that you can find some common features in decor elements, but there is no historical and cultural connection with India. The Uzorochye style replaced simple and ascetic medieval architecture, and therefore this style is identified with the European Renaissance, although an external similarity is small between them.
