^^ I'd have to agree that the skyline isn't much to look at, but there's only 130,000 people in Saint John. It compares favourably to most other cities of that size: Chatham, Peterborough, Brantford, Thunder Bay. It's too bad Saint John didn't prosper like other Canadian cities did. Consider that in 1901, Saint John was a third larger than Vancouver, and the 7th largest city in the country.

Just a minor correction. Saint John is on the Bay of Fundy, not a lake. The Saint John River runs through the city north to Fredericton and beyond. Saint John is an east coast city, not on a lake.
